The Dabel Brothers are *the* source for graphic novels based on works of
speculative fiction, turning stories by Raymond E. Feist, Robert Jordan, Tad
Williams, and others into works of art.
Dark Echo is a very well-respected horror venue with a pedigree tracing back
to, among others, Ellen Datlow's OMNI.
A Seele Brennt Publications journal dedicated to writer Robert E. Howard
(Conan's creator) and edited by Mark Hall.
DarkMark.com is a disturbingly thorough site on J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter.
Wondering what short speculative fiction's premiere editor is up to? Check out
Ellen Datlow's website.
Encyclopedia-type site that's pretty much as advertised.
What can I say? We always knew Dave was brilliant and creative. Check out
any of his stories or poems. I dare you not to be entertained. When he's hugely
famous, I'll be able to extort him with photographs of our elementary school
days. Ah, heck. Why wait? <<Just kidding, Dave.>>
CLOSED. Deep Magic is not only an e-zine for speculative fiction, but also an
entire community for fans and aspiring writers with the theme "Safe Places For
Minds to Wander."
Everybody who reads speculative fiction knows Del Rey books. Visit their
website to get information about their releases. They also have a newsletter.
Fantasy author Katherine Kurtz's site dedicated to her outstanding and
under-rated Deryni series.
Discover Magazine contains every thing you ever wanted to know about
every field of science.
Home of The Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, The Learning Channel (TLC),
The Travel Channel, and others. Lots of supplemental information for its shows
(especially documentaries).
CLOSED. Small press publisher DNA Publications puts out genre staples
Fantastic Stories of the Imagination, Dreams of Decadence, Absolute
Magnitude
, and Science Fiction Chronicles.
Unique! The good folks of The Dragon Page broadcast interviews with some
of speculative fiction's finest. Shows are also available on-line.
The Dragon Stone is a database with information on (what else?) dragons.
Dragons-Hoard Fantasy Publishing has books, greeting cards, shirts, and
editing services.
Dragons, Knights, & Angels is another values-centered Christian e-zine for
speculative fiction.
